The project was an addition to an existing club, where 12 villas were requested to complete the gated community. Rising 1500 m above sea level, and at the very heart of Kfardebian mountain ski village, the project is considered as a true urban retreat.

The project describes the true meaning of integration. Hidden inside perfectly kept trees, the 3 houses are connected through natural walkways. The only sound to hear is the sound of birds, and the wind coming across the shadowing leaves.

Designed for two brothers, sharing one piece of land, the project consists of 2 separate small villas, in a wonderful charming mountain village. Though the design consists of villas being one above the other, the steep slope was an advantage to prevent any views obstruction.

The project is what we call the perfect retreat. Standing on a hill 800 m above sea level, where trees and nature are the only boundaries, this 300 square meters mansion was all the client needed to escape from busy urban life.

Despite the narrow shape and the plot’s hard constraints, the concept was a winning challenge. Taking advantage of the surrounding roads and orientation towards Beirut’s cost, the villa emerged like a true icon in the middle of the trees.
